An unreadable observer is not proof of an outage.
The observer asks for the canonical homepage every five minutes. A check only passes when the response still contains the expected vvlfgng page title, so a friendly-looking error page cannot masquerade as healthy just because it returned HTTP 200.
The check runs outside both website deployments. UptimeRobot owns the schedule and notifications; the lab reads its deliberately public status-page feed, so the display does not need an API key, database, or another billable AWS component.
What the signal means
up means UptimeRobot currently reports the keyword check as healthy. down means that check failed. unknown means this page could not read the public source, which says nothing conclusive about the website itself.
The history shows daily uptime, not invented five-minute events. This is intentionally not a serious incident-management system. A single success does not prove every route works, and the monitor can fail independently of the website.
